For the past few days we have been canning some of this years crops and starting to dry seeds for planing next year.  At the beginning of the week I dehydrated herbs, butternut squash and pie pumpkin. Today we canned pears and made apple-cranberry fruit leather.

Now we just need to wait for the apples and root vegetables to ripen so we can make applesauce and sides, and also dehydrate some for  fruit leather, pie fillings,  snacks and additions to soups and stews.
