Yesterday we spent the day playing and visiting with friends so today it was time to get back to chores. Fortunately, it stopped raining and the sun came out long enough for us to get the front and side yards mowed before it clouded over again. I guess the lower pasture will have to wait

Window Seat Quilt Complete

The Window Seat quilt is now finished. I have to really push myself to tack on the last few beads. I love to use beads in my quilts, but dislike the large amount of  tacking that is required to set all of them in place. I made this wall quilt to hang on a small

Vermont Quilt Show

I am so excited the Vermont Quilt Show is this weekend and my Fathers and Daughters quilt will be on display at the show.  We plan on driving up to the show Sunday morning to view all the wonderful quilts that will be on display… I always get so many wonderful ideals from attending shows

Sunday dinner with friends

Today we will be having dinner with an ex-coworker and her husband. Since it promises to be a lovely day we will be enjoying our meal on the deck (revision: we have had two heavy rainstorms early this morning so the dining room table is also set just in case we will have to move
